Herbalism and Food as Medicine

Herbal medicines origins can be traced back to ancient cultures such as India, American Indian and Chinese. It involves the medicinal use of plants to treat disease and enhance general health and wellbeing.  Herbal therapies in the form of teas, tinctures, capsules, salves, and other edible plants, fruits and vegetables can provide us with a holistic way to address health issues and improve our  day-to-day wellness.

Initial Consultation

During the initial consultations we sit one-on-one and discuss your health history, your present concerns, and your goals for whole health. We will also discuss your current diet, your physical, emotional, and energetic characteristics to develop an herbal and/or food recommendation specific to you and your intention. Within 1 day you will receive an email or even text message with these recommendations, vegan food list and  recipes. If you choose, you may order your custom herbal formula from White Lotus Spiritual Healing, at a separate charge. Personal cooking may be available at a separate charge.  $135

Follow-up Consultations

During the follow up consultation we discuss your experience with the herbal or foods recommendations.  At this time we may decide to modify your formula, dosage or food plan and we will coach you through the next step. I recommended that clients follow up at least once within a month of the initial appointment. Most clients will need to stay on an herbal formula for 3-6 months depending on the nature of the imbalance and how chronic the pattern is. Time and patience is important as we want to help your body heal once your off the herbal remedies so you can thrive and allow the body to do what it naturally does. $95

Personal Shopping and Vegan Cooking

For clients that require a more hands-on approach or do not have the time to prepare meals, this service may be a great alternative. Based on your goals, likes and dislikes, as well as your dietary needs, I develop a new menu every week, do all the grocery shopping, and prepare your meals either in your kitchen or mine. You may choose from vegetarian, vegan and vegan anti-inflammatory plans, all will be plant-based. You will receive instructions for reheating, finishing the dishes off and or course, suggestions for serving the plates. $150
